Stampin Up Dress Framelits and Stretch Ribbon

Love these dress framelits.  Can't believe they retired!  They are still available at a clearance price on SU site.

Used pistachio pudding as dress base and pistachio pudding ribbon to wrap around skirt. Used a bronze pearl pen to make buttons.  Used the other dress framelit to cut out the top half for the cardigan.  Just trimmed down the middle and glued on.  Used Early espresso and a scrap pattern paper.  Easy peasy!

It's Wedding Season!

It's that time of year again.....Wedding season.  I have a cousin get remarried and I wanted to do something fun yet sophisticated.  I used The Stampin Up dress framelit die as my base.  I added paper flowers as the skirt to my dress.  I used a white pearly pen for the necklace and the buttons on the dress.  I used a Raisin Boat stamp set for the background (All in Toille is the name....highly recommend!)  This was an easy card; just a bit of glue and some baked brown sugar and crumb cake ink from SU.  Presto!

Elegant Damaske (Raisin Boat) with a twist of 3d Paint

This one is a new favorite!  I've not even put a sentiment inside yet.  I started with elegant eggplant paper from SU.  I added a layer of shiny gold paper from Archivers.  I stamped the Damask image in versamark and embossed in gold.  I then ran through the SU stripes embossing folder.  To add color and dimension, not to mention shimmer, I used violet and copper and gold 3d stamp paint.  I LOVE HOW THAT TURNED OUT!

I used gold organdy ribbon from Joann and that's a wrap!

A beautiful birthday combining 3d paint plus fun Art impressions stamps

I love the new Viva Decor 3d stamp paint!  I can't get enough......  This time I used red and silver and a bit of walnut brown.  I started with black cardstock and embossed with the clocks embossing folder from Darice.  I also used real red SU cardstock.  Organdy ribbon from Joann added a great bow to the bottom.  A red Pearl pen added red pearls on the clocks.

Just when you think it's a fairly formal card......peek inside to see this fun gal from Art Impressions!  It's hard to tell but she has a light brown shading around her and the white areas to make her image look a bit worn too.  It seemed to match the outside a bit more.

3D Stamp Paint by Viva Decor....My April Love!

This card uses a cool new product from Viva Decor called 3d stamp paint.  It's sold online so far I think.......haven't seen in stores here.  I found at Joann website and at www.raisinboat.com.  Colors are fantastci!  Lots of shimmer!

I used SU paper in Old Olive and Early Espresso.  Ribbon is SU early espresso too.Leaf is a very old SU stamp.  I added Wink of Stella Clear brush pen to the leaf veins.

Birch background is an embossing folder done on very vanilla cardstock.  The Viva Decor paint in walnut brown and moss green were applied with a spouncer (small amount using light circle motion and blending colors together).

If you want to learn more about the Viva Decor 3d stamp paint, www.raisinboat.com has a new video explaining and showing a ton of sample cards..........BUT BE CAREFUL, you may want them all!

Trixie Birthday Wishes (Taylored Expressions)

What a fun Birthday card to ink up!  I started with Trixie from Taylored Expressions.  This is a stamp and Diet set.  I love the little basket for the dog.  I used SU cherry cobbler, cajun craze and crushed curry for the base and the circle layer.  I achieved the circle pattern by inking daubers and pressing them onto cardstock in random places.  I used Bazzill Walnut Cream paper and SU Cherry Cobbler.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink for images and sentiments.  I used copics to color both the dog and basket.  added detail with American crafts Scarlet ribbon with a crushed velvet texture.

LESSONS FROM A DOG! (Whipper snapper designs)

Cotton Pickin Birthday! (Raisin Boat - Icing on the Cake)

This card was super easy and fun to make.  I used SU Black and White paper as card base and layer.  I used smooth coconut swirl paper to stamp the image with a Kaleidacolor ink pad (Berry Blaze)  To achieve the tie-dyed look on the layering piece I simply sponged the colors on the paper with a dauber (one for each color), blending them as they came together.  I finished up with wide eyelets from We R Memory Keepers and White Organdy Ribbon.

Raisin Boat - Icing on the cake set

These two cards use stamps from the new set from www.raisinboat.com called Icing on the cake.  This is a great set with multiple images and super cute sentiments.  If you haven't checked out Raisin boat.......it's fantastic.  Stamps can be rented or purchased.

Images were colored with copics.  Doodlebug sprinkles (day to day assortment) were used on the red card.  Glossy accents add fun to the smiley face and the left cupcake frosting.  Glitter adds a touch of sparkle to the candle flames.

Black plaid ribbon from Gina K was used on the pink and black card.  Paper is stamping Up.  (Real red, Black and Pumpkin Pie on red card and Pretty in Pink and Black on the pink card.)
